ASUU gives out #1.5M scholarship to UNIZIK students

A few members from the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU), Nnamdi Azikiwe University part, has given out more than 30 indigents of the institution an N1.5million scholarship.
The recipients who got N50,000 each for the 2019/2020 academic session were chosen from different faculty of the University.
The director of ASUU-NAU, Comrade Stephen Ufoaroh who talked during the honor introduction said the motion would be done every year as a component of ASUU-NAU’s social obligation to the understudies and their parents.
He added that the help was done to help students who can’t pay their school fees, communicating good faith that the help lessens school dropouts and criminal charges.
The university Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Charles Esimone, addressed by the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Administration), Prof. Joseph Ikechebelu commended the ASUU-NAU administration and individuals, portraying the occasion as a milestone and ideal, particularly considering the monetary difficulty on individuals.
