Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA) / First Batch List of Candidates (1) Proposed for Admission to the 2020/2021 Academic Session [UPDATED]
This is to notify all Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA) candidates that admissions list for the first batch 2020/2021 has been compiled and submitted to the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board.
The list of FUTA admissions has been published and uploaded online. Applicants must follow the procedures outlined in order to gain access to their admission status.
Last Update: This is to notify all applicants who applied for their admissions, to check their JAMB Transfer Approval page on the JAMB CAPS portal if they are transferred to a department other than the original one they applied for. You will need to accept a new department to facilitate further processing of your admissions.
Steps to Check the 2020/2021 FUTA Admission List
Currently applicants can access their FUTA admission status via the JAMB Admission Status Verification Portal. To do this, do the following:
Please open the JAMB e-Facility acceptance portal at https://portal.jamb.gov.ng/Efacility.aspx.
Log in to your Jamb account with your username and password.
Scroll down and find the Check Accept Status tab and click on it.
Select your exam year and enter your registration number in the required fields.
Finally, click “Check Receipt Status” to access your FUTA status.
Successful participants are required to accept or reject the offer of entry via the JAMB CAPS portal.
Please visit the FUTA status review portal at http://www.futa.edu.ng/firarsnew/welcome/admissions.
Enter your UTME / DE registration number in the desired column.
Click Submit to access the status of your FUTA receipt.
Applicants who have not uploaded their O-level Results(Awaiting Results) at the time of their JAMB application should do so immediately by visiting the nearest JAMB Computer based Test(CBT) to have their scores uploaded from O’Level to JAMB – Upload website.
Note: Applicants are advised to check their eligibility status on the CAPS / JAMB portal. If they have been placed in a department other than the one originally requested, they must accept the new department by clicking the Accept button to facilitate further processing of their admission.
Applicants are strongly advised to check their eligibility status using laptops, desktop computers and similar computing devices and not through / from any type of phone. Complete information, which applicants must read and, if necessary, agree on, can be loaded properly and the necessary actions can be taken using laptops, desktop computers and similar computing devices.
