KSUSTA registration procedure
This is to inform all new students of the Kebbi State University of Science and Technology (KSUSTA) that the management of the institution has completed the registration process for the 2020/2021 academic session.
KSUSTA registration procedure for new students
This procedure is structured in stages. Students are encouraged to follow procedures to facilitate the registration process.
STEP 1: VISIT THE UNIVERSITY PORTAL TO PRINT REGISTRATION STATUS
Applicants who have received an entry certificate from the university portal (via SMS) must visit www.ksusta.net and log in with their credentials to follow the link to print the acceptance letter.
STEP 2: PAYING THE FILEProceed to Ecobank Nig. Ltd and make a #200 deposit to account 4002006157 and enter the registration center at the bank cashier.
STEP 3: COLLECT REGISTRATION FILESYou will receive 3 student registration files and need to make photocopies of all your login information including the UTME / DE assessment sheet, JAMB online admission letter, acceptance status letter from the university portal and paste them on each file.
After completing the front of the file, you will also need to provide your original verification information.
STEP 4: COLLECT CONFIRMATIONSThe next step is to meet with the official responsible for activating students and issuing admission certificates to your faculty. Make sure you bring your real credentials with you. You will need to verify the authenticity of these credentials when you provide them during the verification process.
Once the applicant has been verified, a confirmation letter will be issued and a copy must be sent to the admissions officer once the commitment is signed. For applicants who wish to postpone their admission, this is their break period. Contact the admission desk for more information on deferment of entry to the next session.
STEP 5: CREATE INVOICE FOR PAYMENTAfter issuing an admission confirmation, students should visit the university portal www.ksusta.net. After you have successfully logged in, a page is displayed on the left. Click Payment Invoice to get the Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR) registration fee code. On the RRR code page that appears, click Print and continue with each bank in the payment country.
NOTE: Any non-native student who chooses to issue an invoice and claims to be indigene will pay double enrollment after review by the student affairs student assistant
STEP 6: VERIFY PAYMENT AND BIODATA UPDATESAfter receiving payment, return to the university portal and log in with your details to apply online. Click Bio Data. A drop-down menu will appear asking you to enter your RRR verification code and access your CRF registration form (bio and course data).
STEP 7: START REGISTRATION AND PRINT FORMSWhen finished, fill in all relevant entries in the biodata form and click SAVE. Click Course List to open the form and add/remove courses following the instructions for registering your department. Then click Save CRF to print the registration form as the next step.
There are several registration forms that need to be printed, eg. Course Registration Form (CFR), Physical Exam Form, Pre-Registration Medical Exam Report, Student Biological Data Form (Form 02), etc. Print it out properly and send it to the appropriate unit/office for signing.
All of these forms must be printed at least 6 copies. You can request more information from any registrar.
NOTE: Make sure you click LOG OUT on your account page while logging in.
STEP 8: SIGNING WITH THE ACCOUNTANT STUDENT AFFAIRS
Students are expected to contact the Student Affairs Department to verify their payment and ensure that their proof of payment is properly signed and stamped by the Student Affairs Department accountant.
STEP 9: REGISTRATION WITH THE UNIVERSITY CLINIC ON NHISStudents are expected to report to the University Hospital with proof of NHIS payment along with a physical examination form and medical examination report form before registering for registration.
STEP 10: REGISTRATION AT THE UNIVERSITY LIBRARYStudents are expected to report to the main university libraries to apply and get Book Borrowers Ticket and Identity tags/Card
STEP 11: SUBMISSION OF ALL THE 3 REGISTRATION FILES
After signing with all related entities, you will need to copy all your credentials including the online JAMB admission letter, acceptance confirmation, JAMB assessment sheet and acceptance status. Include this in all three (3) files and proceed to the Academic Secretary to sign with the Academic Secretary and filing all files.
