Lagos State Public Secondary School Transfer Application Form for 2021/2022
The Lagos State Government has announced the start of the sale of forms for students wishing to transfer to public high schools for the 2021/2022 academic session.
Students wishing to transfer to public high schools in the state will take a screening test to determine if they are a good match for the class they are applying to in public secondary schools.
Application forms can be obtained by applicants for a non-refundable fee of two thousand naira (N2 000) payable to Skye Bank PLC and returned to the office of the Principal / permanent Secretary of Education of the proposed school, Alausa Branch, Account №: 4030010449, Agency Code: 4280000 and Sales Code: 4020034.
DATE / PERIOD OF IMPLEMENTATION OF THE APPLICATION
Payment and form collection will begin on the date that will be announced soon, while submission will end at a later date.
- All students in public and private schools must attend the grade 6 (elementary school 6) and be at least 10 years old to be eligible to write the test, as this test is for all grade 6 students in public and private schools. Primary school is compulsory in the state whether they intend to attend public secondary schools or not.
- Applicants for transfer to junior secondary class 2 must attach the results of the promotion exam for 2nd and 3rd for class JS.S 1, and applicants seeking transfer to class S.S1 must provide their for Attach Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE).
- All applicants are to attach evidence of three years tax payment of their parent or guardian, photocopy of LASRRA Identity Card and receipt to the application form before submitting the forms.
The screening test will take place in six educational districts by 09.00am. Parents of the Successful candidate will be notified via SMS to the telephone number provided.
Since admission to the proposed school is free, applicants are encouraged to seek permission from the administration of the school district of their choice before paying for the transfer form.
Students and parents should pay attention that there won’t be a transfer to Model Colleges/Upgraded Schools, JSS.3 JSS.3 and SS.2 classes, interstate or international schools.
