Obafemi Awolowo University Teaching Hospital[OAUTHC], Ile-Ife Public Health Professional Training Program (CHO) form, requirements, application guidelines, deadlines, interview dates, time and place for the 2021/2022 academic session.
Applications from eligible applicants for admission to the Community Health Officers’ Training Programme for the 2021/2022 session at the Obafemi Awolowo University Hospital Complex, Ile-Ife, are hereby invited.
The training, which runs for two calendar years, begins in September 2021 and will result in the award of higher degrees in public health.
a) QUALIFICATION OF EDUCATION
West African School Certificate / GCE-O-Level or High School Certificate (NECO) with five credits, which must cover English, Mathematics and Biology / Health Sciences and two other subjects.
QUALIFICATIONS AND PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCES
If they are unable to qualify in (a) above, applicants must have one of the following qualifications and professional experience to apply:
Diploma in Public Health with at least two years of post-qualifying experience.
Public Health Promotion Certificate with 5 years experience
Applicants must be registered medical practitioners in the community and hold a valid practice license

Interested applicants must pay a non-refundable fee of N7,000.00 via REMITTA, which is payable to OAUTHC, Ile-Ife.

Admission selection is based on the candidate’s presentation in a written aptitude test and an oral interview which will take place on:
Written exam: Monday, 12 July 2021
Oral interview: Tuesday, July 13, 2021
PROSPECTIVE CANDIDATES SHOULD GO ALONG WITH THE ORIGINAL CERTIFICATE AND PRACTICAL LICENSE TO THE EXAMINATION CENTER.
