National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) 2021 Stream II "A" Orientation Course starting May 18

National Youth Service Corps, NYSC 2021 Batch ‘A’ Stream II Orientation Course will commence on May 18, 2021.

This is to inform all Prospective corps members that the leadership of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has announced a date for a batch “A” orientation course for stream II that will start in 2021.

The implementation of the program has planned that the Orientation Course for Batch “A” stream II will start nationally on Tuesday, May 18, 2021, 2021.

Orientation Courses for NYSC 2021 batch “A” in all NYSC Orientation Camps are expected to be as follows:

Commencement / Registration – Tuesday, 18th May 2021.
The cut-off date for Registration – 12 Midnight, Saturday, 22 May 2021.
Swearing-In Ceremony – Monday, 24th May 2021.
Closing Ceremony: Tuesday, 7th June 2021.
All Prospective Corps Members must present themselves for the COVID-19 test at the camp before registration.

Prospective corps members must fill out the printed forms themselves for the COVID-19 Rapid Diagnostic Test (RDT) and print test slip to be presented at the COVID-19 test camp.

All Corps members enrolled in the Batch A Course Orientation Course for 2021 are encouraged to visit their respective camps as indicated in their written letters. Foreign-trained graduates are to report to the camp with an international passport and original copies of all uploaded documents.

The National Diploma Certificate (ND), in addition to other relevant documents, is given by prospective members of the Mono / Polytechnic as a pre-condition for registration in orientation camps across the country.

Prospective corps members are advised not to present incorrect registration documents to orientation camps. Management has implemented adequate techniques to streamline and prosecute any got caught.

In the event of a loss of a draft letter, prospective corps members who collect the draft letter from their facility are advised to obtain a police report and oath and then contact the closure facility for further action required. Those who originally posted their invitation letter online can reprint the letter if lost.

Any person who fails to report for service in the Service Corps as directed in the Call-up Letter and/or refuses to make himself available for service in the Service Corps shall be prosecuted in line with the provisions of Section 13 sub-section 1(a) and (b) of the NYSC Act, Cap. N84, Laws of the Federation of Nigeria, 2004.

Anyone who does not qualify to participate in the Service Corps, or has received a National Service Certificate or Certificate of Exemption, but attempts to participate in this manner, will be prosecuted under Section 13. Subsections 2 (a) and (b) of NYSC Law N84, Federation Laws of Nigeria, 2004.

In accordance with the COVID-19 protocol, future corps members must strictly follow all prevention guidelines and use hand washing and other regulations provided for camps. Therefore, it is expected that every member of the corps will come to the camp with sufficient face masks and a personal bag of solvent for hand disinfection.
