UNILORIN Acceptance Fee Payment & Registration Details 2020/2021

University of Ilorin (UNILORIN) procedures for paying Acceptance fees, registration, and guidelines for fresher / newly accepted students for the 2020/2021 academic session.

The University Ilorin (UNILORIN) authorities wish to notify all applicants who are offered admission to the university to proceed for the payment of acceptance fees, clearance and registration for the 2020/2021 academic session.

UNILORIN acceptance fees, registration guidelines and fee waivers for first year students 2020/2021
To be accepted as an applicant, the requirements set by the Joint Admissions and the Matriculation Board and University of Ilorin must be met.

JAMB Terms:
Admission of applicants must be approved by the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) of the Central Admission Processing System (CAPS).
The applicant must have received the JAMB-approved offer of admission.

Procedure for UNILORIN Acceptance Fee Payment & Registration Details 2020/2021 on school portal


Step I: update your profile
On the website of the Ilorin University (https://www.unilorin.edu.ng) under Portal (first under Category) click on the link to the Undergraduate portal.
Click on the Pre-Admission Screening Login link on the Portal. Then on the page that appears, use your JAMB registration number as your login ID and surname as the default password. Then click the login button.

Click the Check Admission Status link to confirm your eligibility status.
Read the STATEMENT FORM and accept / decline offers of entry for the course you are taking.
Pay the acceptance fee in two weeks with your ATM card for just twenty five thousand naira (N25,000.00) (2).

Step II: Clearance procedure
Upload your documents as needed for admission. (Card details are required for your O’-Level)
Wait for permission before proceeding to the next stage of registration.
Then you pay the appropriate university fees as listed on your portal.

Step III: Course Registration Steps


After following the steps above (I – II), interact with your advisor and / or HOD level on the courses that will be registered for your program.
Go to your portal and update your bio carefully on the university website (http://www.unilorin.edu.ng). You have to change your real password from your surname to a personal password that only you know. Make sure you know your new password manually. If you forget your password, password recovery is available online.

Please pay attention to the spelling and order of your name using the templates provided. You are also expected to select the first part of your email at the institution where you qualify as a student.
Click on the course registration link to proceed with the course registration specified by the Level Adviser and / or HOD, then click Submit to allow your Level Adviser to approve.


Print out your preliminary Course Registration Form and interact with your Level Adviser to authenticate the Courses you have selected before payment. Note: Any student who does not check a registered course with the Advisor Level before paying, is at their own risk as they may have to pay an add / drop form to make changes.

NOTE:
You are expected to pay only N250.00 for each payment above the base fee to ensure that there is a sufficient balance in the bank account.
After successful payment, you need to print a payment receipt and four color copies of the final course registration form.


Forward FOUR copies of the form to your level advisor and Faculty Officer to sign, and collect one copy as yours in the faculty office. Keep your copy in a safe place as you will need it for your examination and final clearance on graduation.
Please note that the supported ATM cards on the Remita platform for university payments are Visa and Master Card.
