WAEC 71st NEC Meeting Date 2021: West African Examination Council (WAEC) Nigeria Examinations Committee (NEC) 71st Meeting Date for 2021 Has Been Announced. Examination Malpractice (Held, Withheld, Outstanding) Result Cases Arising from the Conduct of the WASSCE for Private Candidates, 2020-Second Series and 2021-First Series, 2021 to Be Discussed and Decided.


The West African Examination Council (WAEC) has disclosed the date for the 70th WAEC-Nigeria Examinations Committee (NEC) Meeting Date for 2021

The Examination Board of Nigeria (NEC), which is the highest decision-making body on examination matters.

According to WAEC, the Nigerian Examination Committee (NEC) meeting held on Tuesday, April 27 and Wednesday, April 28, 2021 to decide on cases of check abuse arising from the implementation of WASSCE for private applicants, 2020 – Second Line and 2021 – 1st tie.

Examination results are usually delayed when it is reported that the candidate has violated the exam rules and conditions. The report will be investigated further and the guilty candidate’s results will be dropped, while the innocent will be released.

Applicants whose results are withheld, delayed, or experiencing problems will be notified in the hope that the results will be released or canceled.

NB: WAEC WITHHELD RESULTS can be revoked or released based on NEC’s decision based on the evidence of guilt presented to the candidate for the abuse of the exam mal-practice, whereas WAEC OUTSTANDING RESULTS are released immediately the errors committed by candidates that made it impossible to release their results along with other candidates are corrected.
