Ignatius Ajuru University of Education 12th Matriculation Ceremony Date, time and place for newly admitted students for the 2020/2021 academic year.
The Senate of the Ignatius Ajuru University of Education has decided the following date for the Matriculation date for students admitted to the 2020/2021 academic session.
The general public, parents, students and university friends are cordially invited to take part in the Ignatius Ajuru 2020/2021 Matriculation ceremony
Date : Saturday, 19 June 2021
Venue: University Auditorium, Rumoulumeni Kampus Campus
Note: The ceremony will only take place in one (1) session for all students corresponding.
We recommend that all new students have properly completed all registration formalities by Wednesday, June 16, 2021, as the matriculation number is only given to those who have registered correctly and paid all fees.
Matriculating Students are only need to pay N5,000.00 (Five Thousand Naira) as the cost of hiring the Matriculation gown.
All payments must be made online to Ignatius Aduru University of Education, Rumoulumeni, Port Harcourt.
All part-time students are invited to collect their Matriculation gowns at the Center for Continuing Education, and join their various faculties in procession and Matriculation.
All Matriculating students who have registered, paid school fees, and paid for gown rent must go and collect the clothes from their respective faculty officer.
Note: All admitted students 2020/2021 who have properly registered will be notified that the Matriculation number is readily available and displayed online in the student profile on the university portal.
Payment for hiring of matriculation gown is still in progress as students can start collection of matriculation gown from Wednesday 16th June, 2021.
It is recommended that students refrain from submitting forged receipts, as the university portal is circumvented and the process is checked online regularly.
In accordance with the Covid-19 safety protocol to ensure the protection of every academic community and to control crowds effectively:
- Visitors (parents, family members, friends and the general public) are not permitted to enter the university campus during the ceremony.
- Celebration by students, groups, clubs, associations and Fellowship is not permitted anywhere on the university campus.
- Each participant (staff, students and officials) must wear a mask during the ceremony.
- Each participant (employees, students and officials) must pass through the sanitizing tunnel in the auditorium.
Matriculating students in Ignatius Ajuru University of Education are advised to strictly adhere to these instructions to avoid embarrassment. All Matriculating students must sign the Matriculation register as the university does not recognize unsigned numbers.
All Matriculating students who have registered, paid tuition, and paid for gown rent must collect their gown from their respective faculty officer on Wednesday, June 16, 2021.
