Applications are welcome from eligible applicants for admission to the Edo state University degree program for the 2024/2025 academic session.
Edo state University Post UTME 2024/2025: Eligibility and Registration Details
(I) UTME
Applicants who have passed the 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) are accepted.
(a) Applicants must complete the online application form by visiting the Edo University Iyamho website at www.edouniversity.edu.ng. to visit
(b) All applicants must have met the departmental requirement to apply for no more than two sessions for five (5) credit cards in the relevant subjects, including English and mathematics at GCE O’/SSCE, NECO, NABTEB or their Equivalent level to register. For Medicine and Surgery (MB; BS), however, five credits (including math and English) must be earned in just one session.
(c) Applicants expecting results may also apply.
(d) All applicants must take part in the screening exercise in Edo University Iyamho.
(e) Interested applicants who have written the UTME for 2024 and wish to change their choice of college/course at Edo Iyarho University must:
· Apply for university changes through JAMB
· Complete the Edo University Iyamho On-line Application Form
· Participate in the Edo University Iyamho screening exercise.
(II) DIRECT ENTRY
All applicants for direct entry must obtain and complete the 2024 JAMB Direct entry Enrollment Form.
Edo state University Iyamho accepts the following for Direct Entry Admission into 200 Level:
(a) A minimum of Merit pass in NCE, Credit in OND/HND or at least Second Class (Lower Division) in BSc. for admission into three and four-year Degree programmes.
(b) Candidates with two Advanced Level passes or its equivalent in relevant subjects.
(c) The Interim Joint Matriculation Board (IJMB), Joint Universities Preliminary Examination Board (JUPEB) or Cambridge moderated School of Basic Studies at acceptable grade levels.
(d) In addition to the NCE/ND/HND/BSc/IJMB/JUPEB or two advanced documents provided by the respective faculty or program, applicants must also meet the O’-Level requirements.
(e) Other qualifications approved by the University Senate.
(III) TRANSFER OF CANDIDATES
Applicants can transfer from other universities to Edo state University as long as they meet the following requirements:
(a). Purchase and complete the prescribed Edo University Inter-University Transfer application Form online.
(b). Pass interview/Screening conducted by Edo University Iyamho.
(c). Hold the minimum entry requirements for admission into Edo University Iyamho.
(d). Ensure that the transcript of their academic records are received in the Admissions Office of Edo University Iyamho.
(e). Have a C.G.P.A. of not less than 1.5
Edo state University post UTME 2024/2025 screening exercise
All applicants must be present at Edo state University Screening Exercise on a date and time to be notified later.
Applicants must bring the following for the screening exercise:
(i). Edo University On-line application print out
(ii). 2024 UTME result slip
(iii). O’ Level result
(iv). Birth certificate or affidavit
